Mayor Salvador G. Escalante Jr. led the blessing and turn-over ceremony for the newly-acquired government vehicles last March 4, 2022, in front of the Cadiz City Hall Two, with Rev. Fr. Guerrero Rovero officiating.
Mayor Escalante Jr., for the delivery of a better public service, turned over the one unit of JMC Ambulance Double-patient Transport to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO). Amounting P2,195,000, Board Member Samson “Jongben” Mirhan received the brand-new vehicle.
The Mayor also handed the P1,545,000-worth JMC Back-to-Back patrol car to the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Cadiz City. PLTCOL Gil John L. Despi, OIC-chief of police, acknowledged the unit.
Jocelyn Say, a representative from the Office of the City Agriculturist, received the JMC Double Cab Vehicle that costs P1,840,000.
White the City Nutrition Office acquired a customized JMC Mobile Kitchen Aluminum Van that amounts to P3,345,000. City Nutritionist Cristina R. Wong accepted the mobile kitchen.
According to Mayor Escalante, the P8,925,000 fund was taken from the Economic Enterprise and 20% Development Fund.
The Mayor added that the procurement of those vehicles prioritized the City’s health, peace and order, and food security programs./*
